This policy explains how Foot Intelligence ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use Foot Intelligence (the "Service"). We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide and the minimum needed to run the Service:
- Account details — your email address, and optionally your name, practice name and provider number.
- Subscription & billing — your subscription status and billing records. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy); we do not store your full card details.
- Synced application data — the settings, notes or items you explicitly choose to sync across your devices.
- Technical data — limited logs such as IP address and timestamps, used for security and troubleshooting.
Patient and clinical information
Foot Intelligence is designed so that clinical information you enter stays on your device. Only the items you choose to sync leave your device. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with your professional and legal obligations regarding patient records.
How we use information
To provide and secure the Service, manage your subscription, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Disclosure to third parties
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service — our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy) and our hosting provider — and where required by law.
Storage and security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, transport is encrypted (HTTPS), and access is restricted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@footintelligence.com.au. You may also make a privacy complaint, and if unsatisfied, contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
